Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using vibecodejobs.io ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

vibecodejobs.io is a curated marketplace that connects clients seeking software development work with skilled developers ("Developers"). The Platform provides tools for posting jobs, browsing developer profiles, submitting applications, and facilitating communication between clients and developers.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

The Platform supports two user types: Clients, who post jobs and hire developers, and Developers, who create profiles and apply for work. Admin accounts are reserved for Platform operators.

4. Fees and Payments

The Platform charges a $1 fee for posting a job and a $1 fee for submitting an application. These fees are non-refundable and are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Fees are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice of any fee changes before they take effect.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or profile information
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users of the Platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its systems
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Platform without permission
• Circumvent any fees or payment mechanisms on the Platform
• Post spam, duplicate listings, or irrelevant content

6. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Platform, including job listings, profile information, and project descriptions. By posting content, you grant vibecodejobs.io a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.

The Platform's name, logo, design, and underlying code are the property of vibecodejobs.io and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

7. Client and Developer Relationship

vibecodejobs.io serves solely as a platform to connect clients and developers. We are not a party to any contract or agreement between clients and developers. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any work performed. Clients and developers are solely responsible for the terms of their engagements, including payments, deliverables, and dispute resolution.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, vibecodejobs.io and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that is harmful to other users or the Platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.
